We’re excited to announce this year’s winter recital concerts. Whether you’ve just begun your musical journey or you’ve been honing your craft for years, there’s nothing more beneficial than the experience of performing in front of a live audience. Our recitals are fun and low-stress. Students can perform any song they would like as a solo, with their teacher, along with a backing track, or with friends or family members.
We like to keep our recitals easy and fun to attend. Each recital session is approximately 60 minutes from start to finish and ends with a big group sing-along. Students are welcome to bring friends and family members, and we also open the doors to the general public. The recitals are also free to attend, but we do suggest donations to the Sunburst Music Scholarship Fund at the door!
We'll be finishing each session with a group jam-along version of The Beatles Twist and Shout. We're encouraging all of performers and any of our audience members who'd like to to jump on stage and join in. Here's the chord sheet if you'd like to practice ahead of time.
The recitals will take place on Friday 12/13, Saturday 12/14 and Sunday 12/15 including our special adults only BYOB session on Friday evening. Here’s a list of which teacher will be doing which session:
